Xi House

The Xi chapter house was the first building in the country built specifically for use as a residential fraternity. That was in 1893. In 2010, it was placed on the National Register of Historic Places.

In 2010, Xi life still begins at the Chapter House. The Xi, as it is commonly known, is the center for all fraternal, rush, pledging, and social events of the Xi. It is also home to close to 20 brothers and Chique Chaque, the Xi’s eating club for all undergraduate brothers.

The Chapter House is situated on the corner of High and College Streets, next to Fisk Hall. Brothers on the north side of the house enjoy the quintessential view of campus: College Row.
